Structural Engineers and Design Innovation - Lecture
The Engineering Education Innovation Center at Ohio State is co-sponsoring a lecture with Knowlton School of Architecture and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geodetic Science. The lecture is by Nina Rappaport of Yale University. The lecture will be based on a new book out on cutting edge engineering practices; SUPPORT AND RESIST: STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS AND DESIGN INNOVATION by Nina Rappaport published by The Monacelli Press, New York.
Marshall Univ. S.A.M.E Second Annual Winter Technical Conference
The second annual Marshall University Society of American Military Engineers Winter Technical Conference will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 8:00 am until 4:15pm. Seven technical presentations are on the agenda which includes a continental breakfast and lunch. 2010 OSU Civil Engineering PE Refresher Course
The OSU Civil Engineering PE Refresher Course will meet each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:30-10:30 for eight sessions beginning the 26th of January. Registration is required and must be completed at least two weeks in advance of the section starting date. Payment or contract must accompany application to ensure enrollment. All checks or money orders should be payable to The Ohio State University. If enrollment does not meet the minimum required, the course will be cancelled and all money will be refunded.

The Central Ohio Professionals Chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) was founded in 2007 by a group of local engineers and works in partnership with the Ohio State University student chapter. It is a non-profit organization located in Columbus, Ohio. The main mission of EWB is to partner with developing communities to improve their quality of life through environmentally sustainable engineering projects.
