Construction is underway for the new Main Street Bridge across the Scioto River in downtown Columbus. The bridge will be a unique structure having an inclined, single-rib tied arch supported by massive concrete supports. This structure will be the first of its kind in the United States, and one of only a few in the world.

After the presentation, we will go outside and visit the site (walking distance), which is adjacent to Spaghetti Warehouse. Tom Graf with Kokosing will describe the project’s construction.

Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a hard hat if you have one.
