Topic: Selection, Design, and Installation of Storm Sewer Pipe
You are invited to a Technical Presentation and Meeting of the Lower Scioto Valley Chapter of ASCE. The Chapter is part of the Central Ohio Section of ASCE.
The presentation will include:
- an overview of some storm drains alternatives including CMP, Corrugated HDPE Pipe, Steel Reinforced Polyethylene Pipe and other material;
- review of pipe selection and design process including: structural, hydraulic and durability considerations; and
- installation and backfill issues associated with different types of pipes.
