Our special guest speaker is John A. Frauenhoffer, P.E., S.E., M.ASCE who is the current ASCE Region 3 Director and Chair of the Region 3 Board of Governors. Mr. Frauenhoffer is a Licensed Professional Engineer and a Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois and is the Director of Structural Engineering for Engineering Resource Associates, Inc., headquartered in Warrenville, IL.

John Frauenhoffer has over 37 years of professional experience. He serves as ERA’s Director of Structural Engineering Services and was the founder and President of Champaign-based Frauenhoffer and Associates, PC, which was acquired by ERA in 2009. His professional experience includes structural design, structural inspections, and forensic investigations. As an award-winning Project Director, John has provided bridge design and inspection services for a vast array of agencies and political subdivisions including: IDOT, IDNR, Illinois Capital Development Board, and many county/municipal agencies.
