Record Turnout for 14th Annual Golf Outing
With great weather, a course in great condition, plenty of great food and the largest turnout of golfers in its history, the 14th Annual ASCE Central Ohio Section was one of the most successful ever. A record turnout of 88 golfers along with a few motorcycle riders participated in this year’s event held once again at Darby Creek Golf Course. The defending champs from 2009, Joe Windau and Tom Roch, brought home the winning score at 3-under par. J.R. Wolfe and George Gillespie were the only other pairing to break par at 1-under par. Lunch included hamburgers, hot dogs and snacks and dinner included steaks, chicken, sides and the greatest selection of pies outside an international baking competition. Over $1,500 was raised this year and over $22,000 has been raised in the outing’s history.
